My parents don't approve of my future career choice. Help?

Lots of kids want to have certain jobs then when they get to high school reality hits home.They get put off by subject material or that interest fades due to other factors and new interests.You do what you want to be.This is your life.Not theirs,Do they want the money for themselves?
