Do you really need the info in high school that you learnt?

SO, I am doing a home school for the first year, and I am in ninth grade, and I don't feel like I have learnt ANYTHING at all, and I am going to have to do home school again next year because I'll be moving to India.. I don't feel like I'm learning anything in high school so far and I don't want to be stupid! I have bigs plans for me, I want to be a psychiatrist! You have to be smart for that! so if I don't learn anything in high school but still get good grades and good sat and act scores and stuff, then when I go to college to study for psychiatry will I really need the info I learnt in high school???
