Psychiatry Research structure suggestion?

We are required to submit a topic for our psychiatric research and I decided to do one on alphabetical and numerical working memory of our fellow medical students. I also plan to match it with their weighted GPA should the result show significant findings... so, any suggestions on the possible approaches of my research. any suggestions will be much appreciated. thank you!
