HM-8485/FMF? What to expect.?

I will be finishing up HM "A" School in a couple of weeks and will then be going down to San Antonio for Psychiatry Technician "C" School - 8485. I'm able to/interested in going through FMTB after Psych School to pick up those qualifications as well. Does anyone know what a rated Psych Tech would do with the Marines? What are deployments like? Any info would help.
